Hybrid Heat Exchanger:

Hybrid heat exchanger is composed of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger, and plate fins alternately superimposed, which are integrated by precision diffusion welding process. Relying on the direct contact of cold and hot fluids for heat transfer, it has the advantages of large flux and small pressure drop

FIN HEAT EXCHANGER-THE EFFECTIVE SOLUTION OF THE TECHNOLOGIES:

The Hybrid Heat Exchanger produced by COOLPLUS/ORCAER combines the advantages of Shell & Tube- and Plate Heat Exchangers. A larger cooling surface through the hybrid-design and the easy to clean waterside allows us to manufacture heat exchangers in a smaller size with a better cooling capacity.

Features:

  • Oil side: optimized performance by fin technology
  • Water side: optimized durability due water tubes
  • Aluminum fins ensure larger levels of heat exchange
  • Heat dissipation up to 6,700 HP (5,000 kW)
  • Oil flow rates of up to 581 gal/min (2,200 l/min)
  • Removable end caps for easy cleaning of the tubes
  • Flanges allow the heat exchangers to be turned through 90°
  • pressure: oil 508 psi (35 bar) / water 145 psi (10 bar)
  • Oil-side: optimized performance due to fin-technic
  • Small water tubes
  • On-tank mounted cooler
  • Copper, Copper-Nickel, Stainless Steel, Titanium tubes
